By downloading, installing, or using NudgeUp (the "App" or "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use NudgeUp.
These Terms apply to all users of NudgeUp, including the mobile app (iOS and Android) and the web version at https://nudge-up.github.io/web/.
NudgeUp is a gamified life-reminder and goal-tracking app. It helps you set personal goals, build streaks, track wellness, earn XP rewards, and stay motivated — across iOS, Android, and web.
NudgeUp is built privacy-first. Your data is stored locally on your device by default, with optional cloud sync available.
You must be at least 13 years old to use NudgeUp. Users under 18 should have parental or guardian consent.
You may use NudgeUp as a Guest (no account required) or create an account via Google, Apple Sign-In, or Phone OTP. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
You agree to provide accurate information when creating an account and to keep it up to date.
NudgeUp's core features are free to use with no time limit. The free tier includes:
We reserve the right to adjust what's included in the free tier when NudgeUp Pro launches. Existing free users will receive advance notice of any changes.
We plan to launch NudgeUp Pro, an optional paid subscription tier. Here's what you should know in advance:
Refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to their respective policies. We are unable to process refunds directly. If you have an issue, contact us and we'll do our best to help.
If a free trial is offered, it will be clearly communicated at the time of sign-up. Unused portions of a trial period are forfeited upon purchase.
We'll give you at least 30 days notice before changing subscription pricing. You can cancel before a price change takes effect.
The goals, notes, wellness data, and other content you create in NudgeUp ("Your Content") belongs to you. We do not claim ownership of it.
By using optional cloud sync, you grant us a limited licence to store and transmit Your Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. We do not use your personal content for any other purpose.
You can delete Your Content and your account at any time from Settings → Data & Privacy → Delete Account.
You agree not to:
Violations may result in account suspension or termination.
You may stop using NudgeUp and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases. If you had a paid subscription, cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — we do not offer pro-rata refunds for early cancellation unless required by law.
NudgeUp is a reminder and goal-tracking tool. It is not a medical, financial, or mental health service. Always consult qualified professionals for medical, financial, or mental health decisions.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and we are not liable for any data loss arising from device failure or app errors — which is why we strongly encourage enabling cloud backup.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, NudgeUp's total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we'll notify you via in-app notification or email at least 14 days before the changes take effect.
Continued use of NudgeUp after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Questions about these Terms?
These Terms are governed by the laws of your country of residence to the extent applicable. For EU/EEA users, nothing in these Terms affects your statutory consumer rights.
