Is NudgeUp really free?
Yes! NudgeUp's core features are completely free — goals, streaks, XP, wellness logging, rewards, and all 12 nudge categories. We plan to introduce an optional NudgeUp Pro subscription in the future for premium features, but the free experience will always remain generous. You'll get at least 30 days notice before any changes.
Where is my data stored? Is it private?
By default, all your data (goals, streaks, wellness logs, XP) is stored locally on your device only. Nothing is sent to our servers unless you explicitly enable Cloud Sync in Settings. We do not sell your data or show you ads. Read our full Privacy Policy for details.
How do I sync across multiple devices?
Sign in with a Google, Apple, or Phone OTP account and enable Cloud Sync in Settings → Sync & Backup. Your data will sync securely across all devices signed into the same account. Cloud sync is optional — the app works fully offline without it.
I lost my streak — can it be restored?
We know how devastating a broken streak feels! If you believe your streak was lost due to a technical issue (app crash, notification failure, sync error), contact us via the form below with your account email and approximate date. We'll review it and restore your streak if there's a valid reason. We can't restore streaks broken by missed days, but hey — you've got this! 💪
How do I set up Alexa or Google Home integration?
Go to Settings → Smart Speakers in the app. You'll find step-by-step instructions for connecting your Alexa or Google Home device. You'll need to be signed in (not Guest mode) and have the Alexa or Google Home app installed on the same device. Once linked, NudgeUp can announce reminders and nudges through your smart speaker.
How do family groups and leaderboards work?
In Settings → Family Group, you can create or join a family group using a shared invite code. Members of the group can see each other's XP on the leaderboard and share rewards. Each person's individual goals and wellness data remain private — only XP totals and streak counts are visible to the group.
How do I delete my account and data?
Go to Settings → Data & Privacy → Delete Account. This permanently deletes your account and all associated cloud data. Local device data is also cleared. This action cannot be undone. If you have an active Pro subscription, cancel it first through your App Store or Google Play account settings.
What's coming in NudgeUp Pro?
We're working on NudgeUp Pro — our optional paid tier. Planned features include cloud sync & backup, extended family leaderboard, custom themes and app icons, advanced wellness analytics, and priority support. Pricing and launch date TBD. We'll announce it in-app and via email to everyone who's opted in. Free users will always have access to core features.
The app is not sending notifications — help!
Try these steps:

1. Check that notifications are enabled for NudgeUp in your phone's Settings → Notifications
2. Make sure Do Not Disturb / Focus Mode isn't blocking NudgeUp
3. On iOS, go to Settings → NudgeUp → Notifications → Allow Notifications
4. On Android, go to Settings → Apps → NudgeUp → Notifications → turn on
5. In the NudgeUp app, go to Settings → Notifications and re-save your preferences
